ASUS ROG Introduces Special 30th Anniversary GeForce RTX 5090 at Gamescom
TAIPEI, Taiwan – August 19,2025 ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has introduced the ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 5090 – 30th Anniversary Edition at Gamescom, celebrating 30 years of ASUS innovation in graphics card design.
The new GPU carries a modern look while paying tribute to the brand’s history. Inspired by the classic ASUS EN9800GT Matrix, the latest edition features a hybrid copper-aluminum heatsink with metallic accents and a premium frame. Its backplate has clean surfaces that highlight the copper details, while the front design mixes rectangular geometry with a unique circular frame around two stacked fans.
Adding to the visual appeal, ASUS has included a translucent light panel that delivers an impressive lighting effect, reminiscent of the “infinity mirror” style first seen on the ROG Matrix GeForce RTX 2080 Ti.
