Microsoft Rolls Out Major Xbox PC App Update for Arm-Based Windows 11 PCs.
With this update users can now download and play games locally on Arm-based devices. This means more titles from the Xbox PC App catalog , including games from PC Games pass Ultimate , can now be enjoyed directly on these devices.
Microsoft says Windows and Xbox teams are now working together to make sure games run smoothly on Arm-based PC’s . They are also developing new features to allow even more games to played in the future.
For now , the updates is rolling out to Xbox insiders, who will help test the experience before it comes widely available.
Xbox PC App Now Lets You Download Games on Arm-Based Windows 11 PCs
Microsoft has released a new update for Arm®-based Windows 11 PCs, making the Xbox PC app even better. With this update, users can now download and play games directly on their devices, including titles from PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate. The update, starting from version 2508.1001.27.0 and higher, is presently available to Windows Insiders who are also Xbox Insiders enrolled in the PC Gaming Preview.
If you want to join the preview, here’s how:
Go and download Xbox insider hub from Microsoft store.
Sign in with your Microsoft gaming account.
Go > Preview >select > PC Gaming then click Join.
Once joined, check the Microsoft Store for updates to get the latest Xbox PC app version.
Microsoft says this rollout will happen gradually, so not everyone will get it at the same time. The Windows and Xbox teams are also working on adding more compatible games in the coming months.
